Community leaders, entrepreneurs, artists and business owners will gather in Miami next month for the 2026 Hip-Hop Summit and Black Business Expo, an event focused on the intersection of culture, entrepreneurship and economic empowerment.
Hosted by S.H.E.A.R. Inc. (Sharing Hope Empowerment and Reaction), the event will take place Saturday, Aug. 8, from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. at the Dr. Dorothy Bendross Mindingall Social and Economic Institute, located at 5120 NW 24th Ave. in Miami.
The summit will explore the influence of hip-hop beyond music, highlighting its impact on business, community leadership and social change. Organizers say attendees can expect appearances from speakers, performers, podcasters, radio personalities, music executives, community leaders, entrepreneurs and other special guests.
Alongside the summit, the Black Business Expo 2026 will feature Black-owned businesses, nonprofit organizations, community resources and emerging entrepreneurs. The expo is designed to give attendees opportunities to discover local businesses, connect with community organizations and build new partnerships.
The event is open to community members interested in networking, supporting local businesses and learning more about the role of hip-hop in shaping culture and commerce.
