What Is Hy-Lo News’ Goal?

Hy-Lo News needs your help to improve the technology we use to deliver to our community vital news they want and need. With your valued support, we’ll be able to build a new top-notch website that will improve our audience experience and we’ll be able to manage web maintenance for a year. The new website will not only have a better user experience but will allow us to operate our unique membership program for Hy-Lo News subscribers. What set’s our membership program apart from others is our commitment to promoting local businesses in South Florida, especially Black and Brown-led businesses and organizations. Through our website, members will be able to access exclusive content and be given monthly perks and discounts to shop, dine and explore locally. We have already made partnerships with local businesses to kick off the membership, the missing link is our ability to build a website that can effectively house our vision. This is where your donation will help us accomplish our mission.

A $50,000 raise will allow us to invest in our crowdfunding goals AND hire a part-time investigative reporter.

A $75,000 raise will allow us to invest in our crowdfunding goals, hire a part-time investigative reporter AND hire a part-time social media reporter.

A $100,000 raise will allow us to invest in our crowdfunding goals, hire a part-time social media reporter, AND hire a full-time investigative reporter.

A $150,000 raise or more will allow us to invest in our crowdfunding goals, hire a part-time social media reporter, hire a full-time investigative reporter, AND hire a full-time New Business/Sales Manager.
