Beauty professionals from across South Florida will gather in Fort Lauderdale this fall as Beauty Weekend returns for its third annual Beauty Business Expo.
Scheduled for Sept. 25-27 at the Broward Convention Center, the three-day event is designed for professionals across the beauty industry, including hairstylists, makeup artists, nail technicians, barbers, tattoo artists, fashion designers, photographers, videographers and other creatives looking to grow their businesses.
Founded by beauty entrepreneur Shanelle Salazar, Beauty Weekend was created to provide educational and networking opportunities that go beyond traditional beauty expos. According to a press statement, Salazar launched the event after recognizing a need for more business-focused workshops that help beauty professionals build sustainable careers.
“Beauty Weekend was born to ensure that every beauty professional, regardless of gender, has the tools and knowledge to excel in their career,” Salazar said in a press statement.
The expo will feature hands-on educational workshops, industry coaches and mentors, vendor exhibits showcasing beauty products and services, and networking opportunities with brands and professionals from across South Florida.
Organizers say attendees can expect programming geared toward both aspiring and established beauty entrepreneurs, with sessions focused on business development, skill building and industry trends.
