A powerful story rooted in Miami’s football culture is hitting the big screen.
Team Mecca is inviting the community out to the world premiere of “The Mecca: Legends of Traz Powell Stadium” during the Miami Film Festival on Sunday, April 12 at 12:30 p.m. at the historic Olympia Theater.
The film highlights the legacy, culture, and impact of one of South Florida’s most iconic high school football stages — a place that has shaped generations of athletes and the community around it.
Before the premiere, catch the conversation tonight at 6:30 p.m. on Can We Talk Podcast, where host Janey Tate sits down with the film’s director and executive producers to talk about the story behind “The Mecca” and why it matters to Miami.
