After more than five decades of serving South Florida’s business community, the Miami-Dade Chamber of Commerce is celebrating a new chapter — the opening of its first permanent home.
The organization, which has spent 51 years advocating for and supporting local businesses, will cut the ribbon on its new 3,500-square-foot office and business incubator on Wednesday, Aug. 27, 2025. The ceremony will take place from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at 6401 NW 15th Avenue, Suite 122, Miami, FL 33147.
The new headquarters sits in the heart of the redeveloped Liberty Square, a historic neighborhood that was once a thriving hub for Black-owned businesses, including the Miami Times newspaper. Chamber leaders say the location’s rich history makes it the perfect place to foster the next generation of entrepreneurs.
The move was made possible with support from Related Urban Development, as well as longtime partners Barry University, Florida East Coast Realty, the University of Miami, Miami Dade College, and Bank of America.
In addition to housing Chamber operations, the space will serve as a business incubator designed to empower local entrepreneurs through resources, mentorship, and networking opportunities.
Residents, business leaders, and community members are invited to attend the ribbon-cutting celebration and see firsthand the Chamber’s state-of-the-art facility.
