Rep. Jervonte Edmonds Wraps 10-Town Hall Tour With Final Events Focused on Real Solutions for Floridians

After months of face-to-face conversations with Palm Beach County residents, State Representative Jervonte Edmonds (D-West Palm Beach) is closing out his impactful 10-town hall tour with a final push to connect Floridians to the resources and answers they need.

On Wednesday, July 30, Edmonds hosted his final Virtual Town Hall, opening the floor to residents across the state. The event gave participants a chance to hear the latest on what’s happening in Tallahassee and ask direct questions about the issues hitting home — including insurance hikes, property taxes, health care access, education, and controversial legislation passed this year. The conversation was candid, solutions-focused, and in line with Edmonds’ mission to bring transparency and accountability to state politics.

Next up, Edmonds will lead a My Safe Florida Home Workshop on Sunday, August 4, aimed at helping homeowners prepare for hurricane season. The session will teach attendees how to receive a free hurricane inspection and apply for up to $10,000 in state grant funding to strengthen their homes before peak storm months arrive.

“These aren’t just meetings. They’re a movement,” Edmonds stated in a press release. “In every zip code I’ve visited, families are begging for someone to listen and deliver. These final town halls are about more than policy — they’re about power, preparation, and making sure every voice counts.”
