Award Winning Actor, Omari Hardwick, to be Honored at 30th Annual 5000 Role Models of Excellence MLK Breakfast

They say Miami is a big rich town full of dope young men making a difference in our community through the 5000 Role Models of Excellence project. So it only makes sense that award-winning actor, activist, and beloved star of Power, Omari Hardwick, is coming to town to attend the Role Models’ 30th Annual Dr. Martin Luther King Jr Scholarship Breakfast.

The 5000 Role Models of Excellence Project annual MLK scholarship breakfast is the largest of its kind in the nation and they will be honoring Hardwick, who’s also the organization’s national spokesperson. It all goes down on Monday, January 16, 2023, at 8:30 am. According to a media release, the event serves to emphasize their commitment to service and continuing their mission of guiding young boys along a carefully chartered path to manhood and college.

Also supporting the 5000 Role Models of Excellence Project breakfast will be special guests Mr. Doug Emhoff, 2nd Gentleman of the United States of America, and his Excellency Philip E. Davis, Prime Minister of the Commonwealth of the Bahamas.

U.S. Congresswoman Frederica S. Wilson, Founder of the 5000 Role Models of Excellence Project, created this platform that amplified civic engagement leading to thousands of upstanding men in society.
