A Miami-based fragrance house is marking a decade in business with two new scents designed to encourage moments of pause and personal reflection.
BeLoved Box, founded by Danie Spikes, is celebrating its 10th anniversary with the launch of BeFree and BeStill, two fragrances joining the brand’s permanent collection. The new scents are available now through the company’s website.
Spikes launched BeLoved Box 10 years ago with $100 and a vision of making fragrance feel like a hug. Since then, the independent business has grown to $1 million in lifetime revenue without outside capital or venture funding.
“We launched BeLoved Box to give people tangible tools for grounding and wellness,” Spikes said in a press statement. “Fragrance doesn’t have a gender, only emotion, and BeFree and BeStill are our invitation to everyone to exhale.”
As founder and lead perfumer, Spikes has built the brand around sensory experiences, intentional living and the personal connections people develop with scent. The new fragrances reflect that approach, encouraging customers to incorporate small moments of reflection into their daily routines.
Two scents, one philosophy
BeFree and BeStill were created as companion fragrances, each offering a different expression of the brand’s focus on intentional living.
BeFree features clary sage, eucalyptus and mimosa, while BeStill combines white tea, a rose quartz accord and Madagascan ginger.
The launch comes amid ongoing conversations about stress and mental well-being. BeLoved Box positions the fragrances as part of personal rituals, such as taking a breath before a busy morning or creating a quiet moment at the end of the day, rather than as medical treatments.
Throughout October, purchases of the fragrances will also include a QR code that provides access to guided reflection prompts and curated playlists on Spotify and Apple Music. The additional experience is designed to pair fragrance with music and opportunities for personal reflection.
From a $100 investment to a decade in business
The anniversary marks a milestone for the self-funded company, which continues to develop a collection of fine fragrances, body care products and home scents formulated for sensitive skin.
Spikes, who also works as an executive coach, sees a connection between the patience and intention required to create a fragrance and the process of developing leadership.
“Building a fragrance is like building a leader,” Spikes added. “Both require patience, balance, and intentional layers.”

Both BeFree and BeStill are available at BeLovedBox.com. Each fragrance is offered in two sizes: a 30-milliliter bottle for $25 and a 60-milliliter bottle for $39.
The fragrances are permanent additions to the brand’s collection. Retail availability through mySpa Miami is still to be confirmed.
