Small business owners in Miami-Dade County’s District 2 will soon have an opportunity to apply for financial support through Commissioner Marleine Bastien’s 2026 Small Business Grant Program.
Applications will be available beginning Friday, May 29, through Friday, June 12. Eligible business owners can download an application from the district website or pick one up in person at Bastien’s district office.
Completed applications will be accepted from Monday, June 8, through Tuesday, June 16. Applications must be hand-delivered in a sealed envelope to the district office, and late submissions will not be considered.
To qualify, applicants must operate a for-profit business that has been in operation for at least one year and is located within Miami-Dade County Commission District 2. Businesses must have a physical address, although home-based businesses are eligible to apply. The program’s selection committee may also consider special projects.
Applications can be obtained through Miami-Dade District 2’s website or by visiting the district office at 915 NE 125th St., Suite 2A in North Miami.
Business owners interested in applying must also attend a mandatory informational workshop on Monday, June 8, at 6 p.m. at the Arcola Lakes Senior Center. The workshop will cover program requirements and the application process.
