The Miami-Dade Economic Advocacy Trust, in partnership with Marleine Bastien, will host MDEAT Community Day on Saturday, April 25, bringing together residents, local organizations, and service providers for a day centered on access to resources and community connection.
The free event is scheduled from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Oak Grove Park in North Miami Beach. Organizers say the event is designed to connect residents with programs and services in one place, with a focus on homeownership support, youth engagement, and small business assistance.
Families attending can also expect children’s activities, as officials aim to create an environment where residents of all ages can engage while learning about opportunities available throughout Miami-Dade County.
“At MDEAT, our focus is ensuring that residents have access to the tools and resources that support their growth and stability,” Bill Diggs said in a press statement. “By bringing these resources directly into the community, we are creating opportunities for residents to connect with organizations, learn what is available to them, and take important steps toward greater stability and success.”
According to organizers, attendees will have the opportunity to engage with a range of organizations and service providers, while also building relationships with local businesses, agencies, and community partners working across key sectors.
The event is open to the public, and residents are encouraged to register in advance at www.bit.ly/mdeatevents.
