Brownsville Church of Christ is calling on the community to help spread holiday cheer by donating toys ahead of its annual Toy Giveaway and Resource Fair, set for Dec. 20 in the heart of Miami’s Brownsville neighborhood.
The church is currently collecting new, unwrapped toys for children of all ages. Donations will benefit local families and are intended to bring joy and relief during the holiday season. The deadline to donate is Dec. 19.
As one of the oldest churches in the Brownsville community, Brownsville Church of Christ has served local families for more than 50 years through outreach initiatives focused on education, resources and community support. Church leaders say the annual toy drive is one of their most impactful efforts, particularly as families continue to navigate rising costs during the holidays.
Toy donations can be dropped off at Brownsville Church of Christ, located at 4561 NW 33rd Ct. in Miami. Community members who are unable to donate toys in person can also contribute financially via Cash App at $BCOCGIVE, with “ToyDrive” included in the memo.
