The Orange Blossom Classic (OBC) Committee is bringing back one of its most empowering events to South Florida. The Elevation Experience, presented by Visit Lauderdale, will return for its second year on Friday, July 11, 2025, from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the Charles F. Dodge City Center in Pembroke Pines.
Billed as more than just a conference, The Elevation Experience is described as a “transformational movement” created to inspire growth from within. The free event gathers influential women leaders for a day of honest conversations, professional insight, and personal empowerment. The theme this year centers on equipping attendees with the tools to align their goals and execute with purpose.
This year’s panel will feature a dynamic lineup of powerhouse women who are redefining what success looks like across entertainment, education, beauty, and entrepreneurship:
- Pretty Vee – Actress, comedian, and entrepreneur known for her unapologetic humor and recent red carpet hosting at the BET Awards.
- Dr. Yolanda “Yo-Yo” Whitaker – Grammy-nominated rapper, educator, and advocate for women’s empowerment and community uplift.
- Ericka J. – Beauty mogul and content strategist who’s built a multi-million-dollar brand on creativity and authenticity.
- Ebony Austin – Serial entrepreneur and restaurateur known for promoting ownership and leadership among women of color.
“This event is about more than just gaining knowledge; it’s about shifting your mindset, strengthening your purpose, and transforming the way you lead others from within,” said Kendra Bulluck, Executive Director of the Orange Blossom Classic. “We believe the Elevation Experience is an investment in yourself—a moment to pause, reflect, and recharge both personally and professionally.”
The event is free and open to the public, but registration is required.
