Broadway Smash MJ the Musical Brings Michael Jackson’s Legacy to South Florida

The Tony Award®-winning musical MJ, celebrating the artistry and legacy of Michael Jackson, is set to make its South Florida debut in 2025 with performances at the Adrienne Arsht Center and the Broward Center for the Performing Arts.

Tickets go on sale Friday, November 22, at 10 a.m. Prices for the Arsht Center performances, running March 18-23, range from $49 to $199 and can be purchased at arshtcenter.org or by calling (305) 949-6722. At the Broward Center, where the show will run April 8-20, tickets start at $45 and are available at browardcenter.org or by calling 954-468-0222.

Created by Tony Award®-winning director and choreographer Christopher Wheeldon and two-time Pulitzer Prize winner Lynn Nottage, MJ offers an in-depth exploration of Michael Jackson’s creative process during the making of his 1992 Dangerous World Tour. The production goes beyond his iconic dance moves and chart-topping hits, providing audiences a glimpse into the collaborative spirit that defined Jackson’s rise to stardom.

Following sold-out performances on Broadway, a national tour, and a successful run in London’s West End, MJ continues to captivate audiences with its energetic choreography and powerful storytelling. Its arrival in Miami and Fort Lauderdale marks a highly anticipated premiere for South Florida theatergoers.
