Culmer Place, a new affordable housing development, has officially broken ground in Historic Overtown, located at 800 N.W. Fifth Ave., Miami, FL, 33136. The development is a joint venture between the county, the city of Miami, Atlantic Pacific Companies and Wells Fargo.
Culmer Place is a multi-million dollar project standing seven stories tall that will offer 239 units, ranging from one-bedroom to five-bedroom layout plans. The development will also offer communal amenities like a fitness center, swimming pool, computer room, and club room.
According to the South Florida Business Journal, residency would be available for those making 30 percent to 80 percent of the area median income which means that rent could range anywhere from $542 to $4,541 a month.
Construction at Culmer Place is expected to be completed within the first quarter of 2025.
