South Dade Black History Center Advisory Board to Host 3rd Annual Basel South Black Art Show TONIGHT

The South Dade Black History Center Advisory Board (SDBHCAB) will host its third annual Basel South Black Art Show at the South Dade Black History Center located at Larcenia J. Bullard Plaza, 14508 Lincoln Blvd., Miami, FL 33176.

Attendees can enjoy an immersive experience of art and culture during the 2-day art exhibit. The opening ceremony will take place on Friday, Dec. 8, from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. The exhibit showcase will be from 11 a.m. until 2 p.m., on Saturday, Dec. 9.

This year’s featured artist is Eric (Hue) Houston along with a special exhibit by D’Sean Perry, “Love-Art- Football.” Additional artwork will be shown by Rodney Royal, Fredrick Rich, Keyon White-Royal, Fred Thomas, Ms. Tawana, and Marvin Weeks.

The SDBHCAB was created in 2021 to develop policies, activities, and programming at the South Dade Black History Center and assist in fundraising efforts.
