The City of Miramar, in collaboration with Embrace Music Foundation, presents the 10th Anniversary Rhythms of Africa event, happening April 1st and 2nd at the Miramar Cultural Center located in Miramar, FL.
Rhythms of Africa is a festive blend of sights and sounds that have awed and delighted a diversity of audiences worldwide, ranging from Reggae, Blues, Soca, Samba, Ska, Dance Hall, Calypso, Latin, NOLA jazz, Funk, Pop, Afro-Beats & more.
This year’s event will honor the 50th anniversary of Grammy nominated band, Third World. With a hat-tip to the iconic band, master drummer Willie Stewart will lead Everglades High School students & 20 other professional international artists & dancers in an epic, pulsating performance to bring you out of your seat up on your feet!
