When I began Hy-Lo News in 2015 as a humble Facebook-based blog, I had the dream to work with students in South Florida. I am happy to announce that this dream came true this Summer with the first cohort of Hy-Lo News interns.
Hy-Lo News found our interns via the Miami-Dade County public schools Summer intern program that’s sponsored by the Career Source of Florida. Through this program, our interns were able to be paid for the work they completed. Our involvement in this Program was made possible by the hard dedicated work of our Internship Coordinator, Marysia Holland. I am forever grateful for the great work Holland did to help us bring this internship program to fruition. Thank you!

Our fall internship program will commence on September 12th. The deadline to apply is September 7th. College and High school students are welcome. To apply email your resume and three writing and/or work samples to info@hylonews.com.
