The Dream Defenders Broward SquaDD will host a Post-Juneteenth BBQ in collaboration with their Miami SquaDD on Saturday, June 25th at 12:30 p.m. at Holland Park.

The community is invited to join members of both Broward SquaDD and Miami SquaDD for their free Post-Juneteenth BBQ celebration. They’ll light up the grill, discuss the history of Juneteenth, as well as safety and gun violence.

Dream Defenders is a Black-led social justice organization founded in 2012 in the wake of Trayvon Martin’s murder. SquaDD members across the state are working toward a better future for all Floridians.
