What is Jollof? Jollof is an authentic African dish with many variations across the Continent, specifically West Africa. It’s composed of rice in a tomato based sauce, with various savory spices and smokey heat from the Continent. When paired with the right taste quenchers and your choice of drinks, it will awaken your taste buds to experience authentic native African cuisine. It has been known to either bring you nostalgia or introduce you to a simple but important piece of Africa. In West Africa, it’s known as the “party” dish, it brings everyone together and brings peace to all chaos.
Attendees can expect to indulge in over 100 craft beers, wine and champagne selections throughout the day.
The Pan-African Exhibits is being curated by Afroartbeats in collaboration with Sugar Plum & the Grumbling Growler Art Gallery & Tribes Art Africa Art Gallery in Lagos, Nigeria and features unique collections of art from up and coming local Black artists as well artists from Haiti, Ghana, Nigeria, and London.
The Luxury Pop-Up Shop features highly sought after luxurious, local, Black exhibitors based in South Florida. Attendees can sip wine or champagne, shop unique and trendy fashions and other handcrafted premium health, beauty and wellness products.
The Elephant Room is a sapio-social, champagne networking mixer and art auction for the changemakers, taste makers and influencers. It’s where movements are built, art is created, songs are written, freedom is expressed and change-making collaborations are made.
The Bush Bar Experience takes attendees on a journey to the bush bars of Nigeria filled with fire sticks, fire pits, libations, palm trees and afrobeats. It’s the outdoor space where everyone can let loose, have a good time and feel re-connected to Africa.
