Twin Sisters Host First Ever Afro-Cuban Pop-up Cigar Lounge During Super Bowl Week

The Black Female Business Owners aim to show a different side of Miami during Super Bowl week

The twin-sisters behind the first black-female owned cigar brand in the U.S., Tres Lindas Cubanas Cigars, are set to host their first ever ‘Afro-Cuban Pop-up Cigar Lounge’.  This unique experience will be located in the heart of Miami’s Little Havana and will be held during Super Bowl week Monday, Jan. 27th-Sunday, Feb. 2nd.  The sisters, Yvette and Yvonne Rodriguez who sell their cigars to stores nationwide are partnering with the only Afro-Cuban owned cigar shop in Miami, Top Cigars, a staple in the community for over 16 years.

“In an area that is currently being gentrified, we aim to support a longstanding black-owned, business in the neighborhood”, says Yvette.  Inspired by their grandmother the twins feel the brand celebrates black women and their ancestors. “We have named each cigar behind the complexions of the black women”, says Yvonne.  “From dark skin tone to light, we celebrate them all”.

Since its launch, Tres Lindas Cubanas Cigars has been featured in MadameNoire, CNN, NBC, Black Enterprise, Business Insider among other media outlets.
