Politicians have a tough job governing and creating policies. We love them and hate them depending on the issues. But having this job of public servant doesn’t mean you can’t do it in style– I mean the public is watching you. Might as well do it GQ. I personally think that South Florida Politicians are particularly dapper and put a lot into how they appear to the public. I may not always agree with these guy’s politics or policies, but I’m not going to front like they aren’t well dressed doing their jobs. I’ve noticed a few elected officials I’d like to highlight– all in good fun. In no particular order check out some of South Florida best dressed politicians and leaders.
Miami-Dade County Public Schools District One School Board Member- Dr. Steve Gallon III
City of Miami Commissioner Keon Hardemon
State Representative District 101- Shevrin Jones
State Representative District 117- Kionne McGhee
City of Miami Gardens Mayor Oliver Gilbert
City of Opa-Locka Mayor Matthew Pigatt
Miami-Dade County Commissioner District 2- Jean Monestine
*Even though he’s not an elected official, I had to give an honorable mention to Miami-Dade County Public Schools Superintendent Alberto Carvalho.
Now your turn. Who would you add to our best dressed list?

For real, is this the best they can do? Steve, Mathew & Oliver. That’s it. The rest are cheap Suite fashion you can pick up at your local Marshall’s , or Ross. Jean is ok, but needs to make sure his clothes are properly tailored.
Hey your opinion is your opinion. This was mine… But thanks for commenting 😊
I disagree all five are well dressed GQ elected officials. I would also include Commissioner Moss Miami Dade County, Reggie Leon councilman Miami Gardens, North Miami councilman Alix Desulme, North Miami Beach Fleurimond, and State Senator Jason Pizzo
Thank you Elizabeth for the recommendations. We’ll keep that in mind for if we do a part two. 😉
And with all… honesty the best dressed and best quality clothing goes to Dr. Steve Gallon. He has a style that’s consistent and fresh.
We can see why you said that. Thanks for sharing your opinion. Appreciate you for commenting
