HY-LO News has officially launched HY-LO News Live, a new weekly livestream designed to keep viewers informed on the latest political, community and cultural stories impacting South Florida. The show airs every Friday at 12:30 p.m., offering timely discussions, exclusive interviews and analysis during one of the busiest election seasons in recent years.
The premiere episode featured an exclusive interview with Florida House District 108 candidate Dinah Escarment, who discussed her campaign and priorities ahead of the Aug. 18 primary election. The show also broke down the Miami Herald‘s latest political endorsements and what they could mean for several key local races.
In addition to political analysis, the inaugural broadcast explored whether Gen Z voters are fully embracing their voting power and examined the ongoing political feud between U.S. Reps. Sheila Cherfilus-McCormick and Debbie Wasserman Schultz. Viewers also got the latest installment of The Culture Report with Dericka Jaye, highlighting stories at the intersection of culture and community.
Each week, HY-LO News Live will feature breaking political news, campaign updates, exclusive conversations with candidates and community leaders, and discussions on the issues shaping South Florida.
