The City of North Miami Beach is gearing up to bring entrepreneurs, business owners, and community leaders together for its 2026 Small Business Summit & Expo, a day focused on connection, resources, and real growth opportunities.
Hosted by the Mayor and Commission, the event is scheduled for Wednesday, May 6, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at North Miami Beach City Hall.
City officials say the summit is part of a broader push to support small businesses and strengthen the local economy.

“Small businesses are the backbone of our local economy,” Commissioner Daniela Jean said. “This Summit is designed to provide meaningful opportunities for entrepreneurs to connect, learn, and grow right here in North Miami Beach.”
The event will feature a mix of hands-on workshops, panel discussions, and networking opportunities aimed at both new entrepreneurs and established business owners. Attendees can expect sessions led by industry professionals, along with access to resources focused on funding, business development, and long-term growth strategies.
An exhibitor marketplace will also highlight local vendors and the city’s “Shop Local” initiative, giving businesses a chance to showcase their products and services while connecting directly with the community.

Organizers say the goal is to create a space where entrepreneurs can tap into practical tools, build relationships, and better navigate the challenges of running and scaling a business.
The summit is open to media partners, business leaders, and members of the community interested in learning more about North Miami Beach’s growing business landscape.
