South Florida’s Amaryah Jones Makes Radio History At Just 13

Amaryah Jones is quickly building a name for herself in radio and youth media, earning national recognition before most teenagers reach high school.

In November 2025, Jones received the Rising Star Award from IGen Film Fest, which recognized her work as a young radio personality and her efforts to amplify youth voices. She was 12 years old at the time of the award. Less than a month later, on December 7, 2025, Jones was honored with the Legendary Icon Boss in Radio Award at the Generals, Bosses and Bossettas Platinum Awards Gala. She was 13.

The back-to-back honors have positioned Jones as one of the youngest award-winning radio personalities in the industry, drawing attention to her growing influence in faith-based and youth-centered media spaces.

Jones is the host of The Amaryah J Show, which airs Saturdays at 12 p.m. EST on Envision Radio, with replays on Tuesdays at the same time. Envision Radio broadcasts globally and has received nominations from the Stellar Awards, Gospel Choice Music Awards, and SPIN Awards.

In addition to hosting her own show, Jones contributes to Envision Radio Magazine through its Youth Spotlight page, where she highlights young people making an impact in entertainment, media, and their local communities. The platform is designed to give youth a space to be seen and recognized for their work.

Beyond radio, Jones has built a résumé that spans multiple creative fields. She is an author, speaker, entrepreneur, and performer whose career began early. At the age of two, she earned the title of Little Miss Ambassador International, and she has since appeared in independent films, modeled for designers, and participated in various media projects.

Her work also includes public speaking engagements focused on youth empowerment. Jones has served as a featured speaker at a Hardin County NAACP Black History event and a Kentucky Black Caucus gathering. She has also spoken to students in Alabama and Miami, sharing messages centered on confidence, preparation, and self-belief, particularly around academic testing and personal development.

As she looks ahead to 2026, Jones is expanding her work across media platforms, including developing her first film project. She has said storytelling is another way for her to connect with audiences and encourage young people to use their voices with intention.

“We all have the ability to create,” Jones said. “So create and let your message heal the world.”
