The City of Miramar is turning up the energy this summer with its “First Fridays: Network & Chill” event happening on August 1, 2025. Aimed at young professionals, entrepreneurs, creatives, and side-hustlers ages 21 to 40, this vibrant networking mixer promises an evening of real talk, real vibes, and real business.
Presented by Mayor Wayne M. Messam and hosted by the City of Miramar’s Economic Development & Housing Department, the event will take place from 6:30 PM to 9:00 PM at Bind Space, located at 3150 SW 145th Avenue in Miramar, FL. Entry is free with RSVP, but space is limited.
The night will feature food, music, and refreshments, along with an inspiring talk from guest speaker DJ Irie, the official DJ for the Miami Heat and a noted philanthropist. Known for his dynamic personality and commitment to community empowerment, DJ Irie is expected to bring both insight and motivation to the next generation of South Florida innovators.
“Network & Chill” is part of the city’s larger effort to engage young adults in meaningful professional development while creating a space for authentic connections and collaboration.
