Lauderdale Lakes Invites Residents to Holiday Season Community Clean-Up

The City of Lauderdale Lakes, in partnership with Commissioner Sharon Thomas, is inviting residents to roll up their sleeves for a community clean-up event ahead of the holidays. Titled “Beautifying Residents’ Homes for the Holiday Season,” the initiative will take place on Saturday, December 21, from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m., starting at the Multipurpose Auditorium at 4340 NW 36th St., Lauderdale Lakes, FL 33319.

The clean-up effort aims to enhance the appearance of homes and neighborhoods, fostering a sense of pride and community as residents prepare for the festive season. Participants of all ages are welcome, and all necessary supplies, including gloves, trash bags, and cleaning tools, will be provided.

“We are excited to kick off the holiday season with a neighborhood clean-up that brings our residents together to make Lauderdale Lakes shine,” said Commissioner Sharon Thomas in a press release. “Let’s work as one to ensure our city looks its best as we celebrate the season of giving.”

The event offers an opportunity for residents to make a positive impact while ensuring Lauderdale Lakes remains clean and inviting for the holidays. Those interested in participating are encouraged to join and help spread holiday cheer through this collective effort.
