Chairwoman and District 5 Commissioner Christine King will spread holiday cheer by distributing 500 hams and turkeys to residents of City of Miami District 5. The event, part of a series of community initiatives hosted by District 5, aims to support families during the holiday season.
“My heart is full knowing that we can support our community by providing hams and turkeys to those who need it the most this holiday season,” said Chairwoman King in a press release.
The distribution will take place on Monday, December 16, 2024, from 4:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. at Little Haiti Soccer Park, located at 315 NE 62nd Street, Miami, FL 33138. Hams and turkeys will be given out on a first-come, first-served basis to District 5 residents who present valid identification.
