Miami MoCAAD (Dec. 2nd)
Miami MoCAAD invites you to immerse yourself in a one-of-a-kind cultural experience at ARtConnecting Communities: Overtown and Coral Gables. The event will be held Monday, December 2, 2024, from 7:00 PM to 10:00 PM at the Historic Lyric Theater as South Florida kicks off Soul Basel, Art of Black Miami, and Miami Art Week. Ten North Group/Art of Transformation Exhibit (Dec. 2nd-8th)
As part of Miami Art Week and the Art of Black series, Ten North Group will host the 2024 Art of Transformation (AOT) exhibition, showcasing the theme Black Aliveness and the Aesthetics of Being. The free event, presented by R4 Capital, will run from December 4–8, 2024, at the Ten North Campus, offering a platform for exploring how Black cultural expression and visual art inspire new understandings of identity, community, and self-determination.
Miami Gardens/LOUD Week (Dec. 4th-8th)
Councilwoman Linda Julien & LOUD Love of Urban Design will activate Miami Gardens during Miami Art Week (Dec 4-8, 2024) to honor cultural creatives. Events include a cocktail reception, panels, brunch, art exhibits, poetry, fashion show, and vendor marketplace.

Art Beat Miami (Dec. 4th-8th)
Art Beat Miami will once again highlight the creative genius of Caribbean and African-American artists in South Florida when it returns during the most popular week for art in the region.
From December 4 – 8, visitors can experience Art Beat Miami’s Destination: MIA events, including an all-new mural unveiling; conversations with featured artists; Sew Artsy: Art on the Catwalk; the annual Chefs of the Caribbean Celebrity Brunch; a youth art exhibit featuring art students from Booker T. Washington & Miami Northwestern High Schools; and “Painting Your History,” a unique youth art history workshop. This year’s opening reception will feature gifted violist, Kizie The Violist and the band, Grown People Shyt.
