On Tuesday, May 21, 2024, in celebration of National Small Business Month and support for local small businesses and entrepreneurs, Miami-Dade County Mayor Daniella Levine Cava and the Office of Innovation and Economic Development (OIED) will host the Miami-Dade County Makers Marketplace, a special event dedicated to supporting local entrepreneurs. The marketplace will be held at the Stephen P. Clark Government Center located at 111 NW 1st Miami, FL 33128 from 11am-3pm.
The Makers Marketplace will offer a platform for local small businesses to showcase and sell their goods and services directly to the public. The event will be hosted by Rodney Baltimore and feature a vibrant marketplace atmosphere with live on-air promotion from HOT 105.
National Small Business Month is a nationwide initiative acknowledging the vital role small businesses play in the U.S. economy. Throughout May, events are held to connect small business owners with experts, educational resources, and valuable networking opportunities. Miami-Dade County’s OIED plans to reach a wide range of small businesses this month through various initiatives.
