The Overtown 1896 Marketplace returns this weekend to shine light on new and existing small business owners, craftsmen and service providers while celebrating business opportunities coming to Overtown. The event kicks off May 4, 2024 at The Urban Miami, 1000 2nd Avenue, Miami FL 33136 from 10AM to 3PM.
Celebrating the revitalization of Overtown’s Entertainment District, one of Miami’s oldest and most historically significant neighborhoods, the day will provide an opportunity to shop local with a purpose and will also have FREE business assistance, music, games, performances, fitness activities and more. The marketplace will also celebrate Haitian Heritage Month with a Konpa Spin class and deep stretch yoga, meditation and sound bath.
The Overtown 1896 Marketplace was made possible with the support of The Allegany Franciscan Ministries through the Overtown Common Good Initiative.
