On March 20th, Commissioner Daniela Jean announced the launch of the NMB Youth College Bound Program in partnership with City National Bank.
The College Bound program will empower over 50 students in North Miami Beach to pursue higher education through a two-part college tour, visiting five esteemed universities and colleges throughout South Florida.
The NMB Youth College Bound Program seeks to inspire and equip students with firsthand insight into campus life, academic programs, and potential career paths. Additionally, City National Bank of Florida will sponsor the college-bound trip and provide financial literacy workshops tailored to the needs of college-bound students. These workshops will cover budgeting, saving strategies, and financial literacy, empowering students to make informed decisions throughout their academic journey.
The first college tour kicks off March 22, 2024 at 9:15am with students meeting at North Miami Beach City Hall. For more information, students and parents can contact (305) 948-2986.
