On Tuesday, February 6, 2024, School Board Member Dr. Steve Gallon III held his monthly Student Recognition Ceremony at Lake Stevens Middle School. Students, parents, teachers, and administrators attended the celebration designed to recognize the success of students in District 1.
Students were honored for turn-around, academic achievement, attendance, generosity, improvement, kindness, and showing a positive attitude in the pursuit of learning. Each student received a certificate of achievement, a medal, and a Student of the Month T-shirt.
“I am extremely honored, humbled and grateful for the tremendous amount of support and parental and family engagement at this evening’s celebration of our students,” said Dr. Steve Gallon III in a press release. “Our continued success in District 1 remains inextricably linked to each and every stakeholder’s commitment to the education and empowerment of our students. Tonight reflected the epitome of such commitment.”
