3x Grammy Award-winner Samara Joy will be making her Miami premier performance at the Dennis C. Moss Cultural Arts Center at 8 p.m. on Feb. 17. This will be her first tour stop since winning the Grammy for “Best Jazz Song” just last Sunday (Feb. 4) at the 2024 Grammy Awards in Los Angeles.
Fast rising Bronx-born singer Samara Joy was a relatively unknown jazz singer before she was awarded her first Grammy for Best New Artist at last year’s Annual Grammy Awards. She also won a Grammy for Best Jazz Vocal Album last year for her 2022 album “Linger.”
Known for its commitment to showcasing diverse artistic expressions, the Dennis C. Moss Cultural Arts Center located in Cutler Bay provides an ideal backdrop for Joy’s fusion of classic jazz sensibilities with a contemporary flair. With her roots deeply embedded in the Bronx’s musical heritage and a familial lineage steeped in gospel music, Joy brings a unique blend of tradition and innovation to the Miami audience.
VIP tickets are available for those seeking an enhanced experience, offering exclusive perks such as table seating and complimentary beverages. Tickets for the event can be purchased through MossCenter.org.
