The Adrienne Arsht Center for the Performing Arts of Miami-Dade County has released its lineup of family-focused performances for the 2023-2024 season. As part of the Arsht Center’s mission to foster a deep connection between Miami audiences of all ages and the arts, the center presents two series: “FAMILY FEST” and “FAMILY FUN LIVE!”
FAMILY FEST: Nurturing the Love for the Arts
The FAMILY FEST series comprises four free performances, made possible with the generous support of Baptist Health. 2. Family Fest at the Arsht Center: Miami City Ballet – Ballet for Young People (February 10, 2024)

On February 10, 2024, at 1:30 p.m., the Arsht Center, in partnership with Miami City Ballet School, presents a special ballet performance for young audiences. This enchanting presentation showcases choreography designed to captivate young ballet enthusiasts in the classical tradition.
3. Family Fest at the Arsht Center: Let Freedom Swing – From Spirituals to Swing (March 23, 2024)

Concluding the Family Fest Series on May 19, 2024, at 1:30 p.m., is The Big Sing. This event celebrates the power of community and the joy of singing, featuring four community choirs performing alongside the audience. Notably, The Big Sing will premiere a newly commissioned choral orchestration of “The Hill We Climb” by inaugural poet Amanda Gorman.
FAMILY FUN LIVE!: Igniting Young Imaginations
In addition to FAMILY FEST, the Arsht Center introduces the FAMILY FUN LIVE! series, designed to entertain and inspire children through performances. Tickets for FAMILY FUN LIVE! start at $30, ensuring an accessible option for families.
1. Disney Junior Live on Tour: Costume Palooza (October 10, 2023)

Kicking off the FAMILY FUN LIVE! series on October 10, 2023, at 6 p.m. is Disney Junior Live on Tour: Costume Palooza. This concert-style show brings beloved Disney Junior characters and Marvel Super Heroes to the stage for an unforgettable experience, featuring singing, dancing, acrobatics, and more.
2. Forgotten Founding Fathers (April 20, 2024, and April 21, 2024)

Join the Heelers in Bluey’s Big Play on June 29-30, 2024, at 11 a.m. and 2 p.m. In this brand-new theatrical adaptation of the Emmy Award-winning children’s television series, Bluey and Bingo use their cleverness and games to engage their dad and lead him away from his beanbag.
5. Marionetas de la Esquina: Learning and Forgetting (September 28-29, 2024)
Location: Carnival Studio Theater
On September 28-29, 2024, at 11 a.m. and 2 p.m., Marionetas de la Esquina presents “Learning and Forgetting,” a touching family tale that explores intergenerational love through the heartwarming relationship between young Eva and her Grandpa.
