Context of a Generation Invests in the Next Generation of Miami Musicians through new Artist Development Program

Miami-based non-profit arts organization Context of a Generation is providing resources to independent musicians through its artist development program Project Realize!

Funded by the Miami Foundation through their Community Grants, the program was designed to strategically cultivate emerging recording/performing artists into professional and nationally known artists.

Every Monday of this month, Context of a Generation will release an EP, which was created within the Project Realize creative sessions, from each of the four artists in the program.

The releases kicked off on February 6th with “In A Day” written and performed by R&B artist, V, and followed up with “Reminiscent Departures” by artist Knotice 1k which dropped on February 13th. The remaining two EPs, “Back to Work” by Timothy La Roque and “Aeon” by Raianaa, will be released on February 20th and February 28th, respectively.

All of the EP’s have been produced by Miami native producer and multidisciplinary artist, Frankie Midnight. Each EP is released through Context of a Generation’s digital platform on their YouTube channel “COAGTV”. COAGTV will also present a DocU series called “The Making Of” which follows the participating artists as they create their EP within the program.

To close out the EP releases and to expand the audiences of each artists, Context of a Generation will also be hosting a special live showcase on March 4, 2023 at 6pm, through their partnership with Sofar Sounds Miami.
