Dr. Latasha Russell Harris, best know as Dr. Tasha, shared with Hy-Lo News why you should attend her Drive-By Therapy live shows, that kick off a new season Wednesday Feb. 1st. She co-hosts the show with Comedian Chris Priester at the Dania Beach Improv every first Wednesday of the month.
In our interview, Russell explains that this event is a Live Talk Show with a Doctor of Clinical Psychology and a Stand-up Comedian where the guests are pulled directly from the audience. The first show topic will tackle the sensitive topic of Black Americans versus Caribbean people and explore the trauma and issues that has pinned the two communities against each other. Russell hopes that by the end of the event people will walk away with new insight, healing and revelation to show that we have more in common that should bring us closer together.
She says you have never seen anything like this, and The topics change from month to month. “Every 1st Wednesday, you can be assured to get the facts with the funny,” said Russell. The first show is Feb. 1st and Doors open at 7 pm. Showtime is at 8 pm and entry is $20 per person. You can get your tickets in advance on the Dania Improv website.
