On this very special episode of the “Can We Talk” podcast, Hy-Lo News Publisher, Janey Tate speaks with Patrick Range about what’s really going on with the Virginia Key Beach Trust Board and the City of Miami. Range was candid about the history of the relationship with VKB Trust and the City of Miami and why Black people in South Florida need to care about this from a historical and Black economic perspective.
Range answered straight up what the Trust has actually done to build the much anticipated Black History museum that would be housed at the park and why it has taken so long to accomplish. He also spoke on why he thinks people should attend their community meeting on Nov. 16th at New Providence Missionary Baptist Church in Miami. Flyer for event below.
