Yvette N.Harris, president and CEO of the purpose-driven boutique public relations company Harris Public Relations, was named one of 15 new board members for the Greater Miami Convention and Visitors Bureau at the organization’s 2022 annual meeting. She will also serve as the Multicultural Tourism & Development Chair.
Harris, a native New Yorker, began her public relations career with the United States Environmental Protection Agency in 1990. For over 25 years, she’s been known as the “go-to publicist” with recognizable leadership in multicultural communications. By using her platform to tackle issues of diversity and inclusion and generate thoughtful, positive, and newsworthy stories, Harris continues to amplify the voices of marginalized and underserved communities.
