Miami based Pastor, Richelle Lorde, shared with Hy-Lo News Editor-in-Chief, Janey Tate, why the community should attend Jesus People Miami’s 12th Annual Founder’s Week events, which will feature a concert by Gospel Superstar Erica Campbell, a Free Knight-themed family friendly festival, and four days of inspirational sessions she says are designed to fulfill your mind and spirit.
Founder’s Week is an annual celebration of the Life of the Late Bishop Isaiah Williams Jr. and the founding of his Jesus People Ministries church more than 40 years ago with his wife, Dr. Gloria Williams. Bishop Williams, who is Lorde’s father, grew the church to expand to multiple cities across Florida before his passing.
Lorde and her mother has continued the work he began by infusing technology in their ministry to reach more people and has centered giving to the surrounding communities in South Florida. Lorde welcomes the community to join them in celebrating Bishop Williams’ legacy of giving back in the community and be fueled by the message of love and inspiration that guest pastors and speakers will share during the Founder’s Week activities.
