Chipotle’s First Miami Gardens Location Officially Opens

The community of Miami Gardens can now get their burritos and chicken bowls quicker with the official opening of Chipotle in the North Dade city.

Councilwoman Katrina Wilson shared the news on June 8th in a statement on her social media pages. The arrival of the new restaurant brought a lot of discussion on social media from people in the community who praised the restaurant coming and some who were apathetic to it.

No matter what side of the discussion you’re on, a few good things about this are the jobs the restaurant will bring and the attraction for other businesses to come to the area.

According to Loopnet.com, the property was purchased by Marcus & Millichap for a 15 year lease. It’s located at 18299 NW 27th Ave– a popular intersection in the city.

Chipotle serves fast casual, Mexican-inspired cuisine. Founded in Denver, CO in 1993, it has grown to more than 2,600 store locations and serves over a million customers daily. The company is known for its marketing of “Food With Integrity,” its commitment to offering fresh items and sourcing ingredients from ethical suppliers.
