Due to the Tropical Storm warning today and inclement weather concerns for the weekend, Black Pepper Food & Wine Festival has been postponed. August, 13, 2022 will be the new event date. Please look forward to additional communication in the following week.
Hy-Lo News previously reported on the festival that was supposed to take place tomorrow June 4th at FIU’s Biscayne Bay Campus.
Black Pepper Food Festival was created in 2019 to celebrate Black culture, cuisine, and most importantly provide an opportunity for African-American restaurateurs to increase exposure and expand their business as well as a sustainable event for our community to circulate our Black Dollar and practice group economics.
Black Pepper food festival is intended to be a key ingredient | to black economic growth and exposure for black owned restaurants.
Black Pepper is the first food festival of its kind in South Florida that was solely created to celebrate and support Black Owned Restaurants and Food Trucks.
