Williams enjoys working with customers and it’s the success stories that fuels his passion to market and brand small businesses. He said he’s worked with Surviving Vegan, an online wellness company, and consulted them on ways to grow their business. That included successful revenue streaming campaigns, one of which took place during Black Friday. Williams also helped the company filed for their 501c3 non-profit tax deductible status and they were approved.
Like any business man, Williams has seen ups and downs, but he’s never let it set him back. He’s used it to become better. In 2013, Williams was incarcerated for two years at a federal prison camp.
“I served prison time in Talladega, Alabama at a federal prison camp where I took a Residential Drug & Alcohol Program that taught me how to make better decisions from a cognitive perspective. That program was the turning point for the better for me,” said Williams.
After serving his time, Willliams went back to what he knew best, which was a business. The serial entrepreneur has owned and operated businesses since he was 20-years-old.
“My first business was a mobile car wash and my last business before prison was owning 3 tax offices and 2 check cashing stores. I have always had successful businesses and I have always maintained good business relationships with people by being a man of my word and displaying great customer service,” said Williams.
“So, upon being released from prison various individuals reached out to me for business advice. It became overwhelming as a courtesy, so I decided that I would transform it into consulting and marketing companies to grow them to the next level. Also, I became a vendor with the Public Schools, and various cities so that I can provide my marketing, printing, and consulting services.”
Tough life experiences helped Williams maneuver the tough world of entrepreneurship.
“The experiences of being successful, failing, doing business the legal way, & the illegal way was my preparation for the industry I am in. Now instead of just Marketing I can offer business consulting services,” said Williams.
Raised in Carol City and a graduate from the Miami Carol City High School, Williams went on to attend college at Florida Memorial University; which is also located in Miami Gardens. He studied Education and minored in Business Administration and Marketing.
His long and short term goals for his company are to become a government contractor and start a nonprofit organization that helps felons with re-entry. He also wants to educate young men ages 12-18 about options they have besides getting a job and playing sports.
“I want them to know they can open a business, become a stock trader, real estate agent, or general contractor,” said Williams.
In the future Williams wants to go into politics. And even though these are his future goals, he said he’ll never steer away from what inspired him to begin his business.
“I have a passion for helping people and being a part of businesses growing,” said Williams.
