The inaugural Sisters In Power Business Conference kicks off this weekend in Miramar and will focus on women entrepreneurs. The event founder, Chante’ Caldwell, said she wanted to create an authentic event where entrepreneurs could come together to learn of resources they’ll need to be successful.
“I wanted to bring all Black Female Entrepreneurs together to network and gain knowledge from panelists,” said Cadwell about her inspiration for this conference.
The event will take place on November 2nd from 3 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the Miramar Cultural Center located at 2400 Civic Center Place. Tickets are very affordable starting at $20 for a general admission pass and includes a cocktail hour. Cadwell said event goers should come expecting to gain new clients or customers as well as have the capability to start and maintain their business correctly.
Sisters In Power Business Conference was designed for black women to come together and build a community of unity. Some of the panelists will include Shani Curry St. Vil, Purse Empowerment; Ebony Johnson, The Resource Room and event creator Chante’ Caldwell who owns House of Dolls Beaute’ Bar.
“This is not a popularity event. This event is solely to provide the details to become successful and to help struggling entrepreneurs become successful entrepreneurs,” said Cadwell.
Event sponsors include Upper Room Ministries, The Crack House and Danelle McNeil. Some event vendors will include Priceless Treasures, Z’s Mobile Slime Factory, K & R Consulting and Shellebrations.
