Moses Washington is the founder, producer, director, actor, and Playwright of MoWash Productions. MoWash Productions is a pioneer result of a College Organization that he started-- Independent Artist Association (IAA) University of Oklahoma. The Miami native, has produced seven inspirational stage plays that have been delivered to packed audiences in South Florida, Oklahoma, Dallas and Maryland. Most recently his stage play, “The Moment of Truth”, delivered to his largest audience to date at the brand new 1,200 seat Lauderhill Performing Arts Center in Lauderhill, Florida was a resounding success. Washington is a native of Miami-Dade County and former football and track star at Miami Carol City Senior High School. As a child, Moses was diagnosed with Specific Learning Disability (SLD). He overcame that and went on to graduated from the University of Oklahoma with a Bachelor’s Degree in African American Studies and a Master’s Degree in Human Relations. He is currently in pre-production for his next play, “Three Sides to a Story.”
