RnB in the Park did not disappoint! The highly anticipated day party took over Virginia Key Beach Park on Saturday, May 31st, turning the historic Black landmark into a soulful sanctuary of good vibes, great music, and community love. From 2 PM to 10 PM, hundreds gathered to vibe out to their favorite R&B hits, connect with fellow music lovers, and enjoy an unforgettable Miami sunset.
Headliner Lloyd closed the show with a powerful and heartfelt performance that had the crowd singing every word. The R&B star ran through fan-favorites like “TRU,” “You,” and “Lay It Down,” and made sure to leave the crowd with a message of love and intention.
“Miami, Florida I want to encourage you to take some time today to tell somebody you love them while you still can,” he told the crowd, during one of the most moving moments of the night. He later emphasized that time was the “one currency on Earth that we never get back.”
Hy-Lo News was also on the scene with our exclusive photo booth activation, helping guests capture the moment in style. Attendees struck a pose, showed off their best fits, and stepped into the spotlight—all while entering our $100 gift card giveaway. Shoutout to everyone who came through and showed love at the booth!

Beyond the music, the event featured food trucks, Black-owned vendors, Instagrammable photo ops, and the kind of energy you only get at a true cultural celebration. It was a full-circle vibe: sun, sand, soul, and a community of people who came together for nothing but good energy.
