If you’re a Broward County pet parent, now’s the time to show your fur baby some love without breaking the bank.
Broward County Animal Care is hosting a free Pet Wellness Clinic on Friday, May 23, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at its satellite facility in Pompano Beach (3100 N.W. 19th Terrace). The clinic offers free rabies vaccinations, free microchipping, and affordable pet registration for all Broward County residents.
Pre-registration is available online at bit.ly/BrowardPetClinics, but services will still be provided on a first-come, first-served basis—so early arrival is key.
“This clinic is part of our ongoing commitment to making pet health services accessible and affordable to all Broward County residents,” said Doug Brightwell, Director of Broward County Animal Care, in a press release. “We’re here to serve our community and help ensure pets stay safe, healthy, and protected.”
On-site pet license fees:
- $25 for microchipped pets
- $55 for pets without a microchip
All dogs must be leashed, and cats must be in secure carriers. Heads up: no cash payments accepted—card only.
