Miami-Dade County Offers $2,500 Scholarship for High School Seniors Impacted by Gun Violence

Miami-Dade County is providing a new opportunity for high school seniors affected by gun violence to pursue higher education. The Peace & Prosperity Empowerment through Education Scholarship aims to support college-bound students by awarding $2,500 scholarships to help with tuition and other educational expenses.

Scholarship Details:

  • Award Amount: $2,500
  • Eligibility Criteria:
    • Must be a resident of Miami-Dade County
    • Currently a high school senior graduating by August 1, 2025
    • Must be entering an accredited college or university in Fall 2025
