Pinecrest’s popular annual event, Pinetoberfest, is set to return on Saturday, September 21, 2024, at Evelyn Greer Park. Running from 6 to 10 p.m., this event will offer a mix of craft beer, live music, food, and family-friendly activities for attendees.
More than 40 breweries, both local and international, will feature their selections of craft beers, allowing visitors to sample a variety of brews ranging from hoppy IPAs to rich stouts. Music and entertainment will also be central to the evening, with a DJ spinning popular tracks for guests to enjoy while participating in outdoor games.
“Pinetoberfest is not just a beer festival. It brings together residents and visitors alike to celebrate the spirit of Pinecrest,” said Robert Mattes, Parks and Recreation Director for Pinecrest, in a press release. He added that the event represents the community’s spirit of togetherness, with live music, beer, and camaraderie bringing people together.
The event will offer several key attractions:
- 40+ Breweries: A broad selection of craft beers from both local and international sources.
- Live Music: Performances to keep the crowd entertained throughout the evening.
- Outdoor Games: Classic games for families and friends to enjoy.
- VIP Experience: Early admission at 5 p.m., which includes exclusive perks such as a sampling cup and unlimited tastings.
- Craft Beer Experience Add-On: A guided beer and food pairing for an additional $25.
Tickets for Pinetoberfest are available through Eventbrite, ranging from $20 for non-drinkers and children, to $65 for VIP access. General admission tickets will provide unlimited beer tastings, with food available for purchase from local food trucks. The event is open to all guests over 21 with a valid ID, and will take place rain or shine. Additionally, leashed dogs are welcome to join.
Parking will be available at Suniland Park, with a free shuttle running between the parking area and the event location from 5 to 10:30 p.m. Ride-share is encouraged for easier access.
