MDEAT’s grant empowerment workshop helps residents compete for agency’s $10,000 grant program.
Miami-Dade Economic Advocacy Trust’s (MDEAT) county-wide Access Granted community workshop series is headed to the South Dade Regional Library (10750 S.W. 211 Street in Cutler Bay) on Thursday, January 18, 2024, at 10:00 a.m. Participants can register online for this free event. MDEAT designed the content-rich seminars to elevate grant application skills and arm entrepreneurs to compete for the agency’s $10,000 grant opportunity.
Access Granted community workshops empower attendees to receive comprehensive insights into the Small Minority Black Business Capitalization Grant program, including the application process, requirements, and strategies for success. They will also learn from esteemed community partners about their valuable offerings and resources for small businesses.
Qualified Applications must meet these minimum requirements:
- Applications Available: January 16, 2024;
- Applications Due: February 16, 2024;
- Previous MDEAT 2023 Small Minority Black Business Capitalization Grant Program recipients are not eligible;
- Businesses must have a physical location in Miami-Dade County;
- Business must have been in existence for a minimum of three (3) years, verifiable through Sunbiz.org; and
