Tru Prep Academy, a leading educational institution, has recently acquired a new 25,000 square foot facility in Miami.
Tru Prep Academy, known for its innovative approach to education, is now expanding its reach to encompass both young men and women. The recent acquisition, valued at $3,300,000.00, serves as a testament to the academy’s unwavering dedication to its mission of fostering innovation, inclusivity, and empowerment.
“We are thrilled to announce this remarkable step in our journey,” said Mario Smith, Founder and CEO of Tru Prep Academy, in a press release. “Before I opened Tru Prep Academy 6 years ago, I had my eyes on this building to rent, but it was not available, so we ended up in Miami Gardens for 5 years and throughout this tenure, I always reached out to this location because I knew it was the building that one day I would purchase. We thank the sellers for granting us the opportunity to purchase, continuing to build legacy in our community. We thank the Miami Foundation, Collective Real Estate Ownership (CREO) for the $450,000 grant towards the purchase. We would also like to thank Taylor Made Lending LLC, a private lending source, who provided us with a 2 million dollar loan. Claudienne Hibbert-Smith, realtor with EXP Realty, made sure she took us from contract to closing and beyond.”
The recently acquired facility features expansive classrooms, an extensive field for student athletes, and designated areas for collaborative learning. Prioritizing contemporary technology and adaptable environments, Tru Prep Academy strives to encourage students to discover, create, and flourish.
“This is an exciting new chapter for Tru Prep Academy,” continued Smith. “When you’re patient and faithful to the cause, things are going to show themselves approved and with that approval, we’re here. We’re standing in the sanctuary, where we’re able to do personal development, but it’s a great feeling to be able to be at this point in time right now. Tru Prep will be hosting a fundraiser event to celebrate its new acquisition purchase and building location. The even kicks off November 5th, 2023 from 3pm-7pm at 5005 NW 173rd Drive, Miami, FL 33054.
